On Friday, Jidenna released the official music video for his song “Knickers”. I had the honor and pleasure of designing and styling the Ankara Print outfits for the lead dancers in the music video.

As most of you might know, ankara print fabrics are colorful cloths that are primarily associated with the African culture because of it’s motifs. Even though ankara print fabrics are associated with the African culture, it’s origins are not authentically and wholly African.
I linked up with Eugene Maddy of Get Boxed for an Ankara Print editorial photoshoot! The photoshoot was an assignment for a photography class at his school Prince Georges Community College in Largo, Maryland.
