Last Friday, June 15th, 2018, I had the pleasure of attending H.O.M.E. by Martell – Washington, D.C. The event was held at Studio 52, a well known boutique venue in the DMV area.
Martell, the oldest of the great cognac houses, forged by passion and knowledge passed through the Martell family since 1715 – creating cognacs that have been enjoyed and cherished for three centuries. – Martell
On September 28th, 2017, the House of Martell launched the first of its ground-breaking H.O.M.E. by Martell events, when Grammy-nominated singer Jhené Aiko curated a unique experience that presented her personal take on Martell’s art of hosting. Held at a luxurious residence in the Hollywood Hills, the result offered a wealth of ideas for future H.O.M.E. by Martell events across the world. – Multivu
The cocktail menu for the evening featured 4 drinks: Zyla Special, The Swift Car, Martell Green Tea and Cordon Bleu.
My drink for the night was the Martell Green Tea.
The venue was decorated with intimate lighting and sleek lounge furniture.
Good music, tasty food and delectable drinks. I enjoyed the classy upscale nightlight experience.
Throughout the Studio 52, Martell was branded all over the walls, back drops, couch pillows, wrist bands, DJ booth table and LED Swizzle stick in cocktail drinks.
Ambassador of Rap for the Capital, Wale, was the host for the event, he even entertained the crowd by DJing for a few minutes.
I took a photo with the official DJ of the event, DJ Stevo, Wale (hiding in the back) and Wale’s first signee to EBM, Phil Ade.
DMV trailblazing rappers, Phil Ade, Wale and Fat Trel.
Creative director extraordinaire, Troy Massa, looking dapper.
Myself, Ann Akinnuoye (AkinConsults) and Troy Massa. Thank you Ann for the invite. I had a great time!
